01 / About
I'm Kendric, a Computer Science student at the University of Bristol, originally from Penang, Malaysia.
Before Bristol, I completed a Foundation in Computing at Taylor's University, finishing with a CGPA of 3.80 and a place on the Dean's List. I've also worked as an IT intern, repairing office computers and helping staff with technical problems.
I enjoy building software I actually use, like Flow, a focus app for Windows. I speak English, Malay, Mandarin and Hokkien.

03 / Projects
A Windows tray app I built and use every day. It splits work into focus sessions, reminds me to stand up regularly, and starts a full-screen break when a session ends. The break countdown only runs while I'm away from the keyboard and mouse, so the only way through it is to step away. It also tracks weekly stats and has six colour themes.
Below is a web version of the app with the same windows and timer logic. Demo timings are on, so a session lasts one minute.
Flow is a desktop app, so this demo works best on a laptop or desktop.
A desktop game where you steer a ship between two real ports on limited fuel. On a flat map the straight line looks shortest, but the Earth is round, so the real shortest route curves towards the pole. You plot turning points on the chart, and a globe beside it shows where the ship actually goes. There are 13 voyages, an endless Zen mode, an atlas of the countries you reach and a theme editor.
Still in testing, so the levels and look change often.
